Free Instagram Downloader — Reels, Photos & Videos

Instagram is home to billions of photos and videos shared by creators, brands, and everyday users worldwide. Despite being a visual platform, Instagram intentionally makes it difficult to save content directly. There's no official download button for most posts. Our Instagram Downloader fills this gap by allowing you to save Reels, video posts, and photos for personal use.

Instagram Reels are the platform's short-form video format, equivalent to TikTok or YouTube Shorts. They can be up to 90 seconds long and are among Instagram's most-viewed content. To download a Reel, simply tap the three-dot menu on the Reel, tap "Copy Link," and paste it into our tool. The Reel saves as an MP4 video file.

Standard Instagram video posts (non-Reels) are also supported. These can be longer videos shared as regular feed posts. The same process applies — copy the post link and use our tool to download.

Instagram photos (both single-image and carousel posts) can be downloaded as high-resolution JPG files. Our tool supports carousel posts with multiple images and videos.

Important limitation: Instagram only allows downloading from public accounts. Private account content cannot be accessed by our tool since the content is not publicly available. If you are trying to download from a private account, you would need to follow that account and be approved.
